Join the Fun at the Ilwaco Children’s Parade!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 4th, because you won't want to miss the excitement of the Ilwaco Children’s Parade! Open to kids of all ages, this vibrant procession kicks off at Noon at the East end of Howerton Way. From there, it winds its way uptown, culminating at First Avenue South and Lake Street near the old Red’s lot.

Get ready to showcase your creativity and spirit, as awards will be presented for various categories, including Best Decorated Bike, Best Pet Costume, Best Float Theme ("Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree"), and Most Patriotic. After the parade, join us at 2:00 p.m. at the Port of Ilwaco Pavilion for the award ceremony.

Registration is a breeze! Simply swing by the Coho Charter’s parking lot on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to sign up. If you prefer to plan ahead, feel free to request a registration form in advance by emailing treasurer@ilwaco-wa.gov.

Best of all, the parade is free for all kids to participate, and donations are warmly welcomed to help support this beloved community event.
